Puerto Ricans swarm local Walmart

Eager shoppers wait for turn to shop at Cayey Walmart(Cayey, PR) In reaction to the Governor's executive decision to temporarily eliminate the IVU sales tax, thousands of island shoppers swarmed to retail centers across the island. In the photograph shown above, shoppers await outside of the Cayey Walmart. In a brief interview with Dondequiera, the manager of the store was not surprised, "Mano, this was almost worst than the day after Thanksgiving. People went nuts. They were lined up for hours. Most everyone headed directly for the electronics area, especially plasma television sets. Some of the shoppers were even screeching and jumping around trying to get at the inventory."

That's the same thing I was thinking.

Lifting the IVU has to be the most obvious case of pandering to voters, I've ever seen.
