Free entrance to "La era de Rodin"

St John the Baptist PreachingIf you haven't been to the "La era de Rodin" exhibition at the Museo de Arte de Ponce en Plaza Las Américas, then if you hurry you'll be able to save some money. Thanks to an institutional donation, the museum extension is offering free entrance for children ages 18 and below. Unfortunately, at this time, the offer ends February 28th. While they have extended the closing of the exhibition once, it's anyones call whether they will again. To my knowledge, a new exhibition has not been announced for the Plaza Las Américas extension.

The exhibition features 70 works of art by the sculptor Auguste Rodin, whom many consider the most important sculptor of the 20th century. It also includes 13 pieces from some of his contemporaries.

By the way, if there are any other companies that wish to participate, you can contact the Museo de Arte de Ponce at (787) 641-3129 or email Beatriz Garcia at her address: bgarcia at museoarteponce dot org.

The exhibition is open Mondays and Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday they are closed (which is strange). And Thursday they are open 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Regular price for adults is $5.00.
