The Majestix Circus

Maybe you've noticed recently while waiting in traffic on the Luis A. Ferré Expressway, the rather large blue tent they've erected in the parking lot of Estadio Hiram Bithon? I don't know how you could have missed it. I guess you were either not driving in Hato Rey recently or you were too busy talking on your cellular, sans hands free, to notice.

Well, you guessed it, the circus is back in town, and I'm not referring to our Congress going back to work after a recess. No, The Majestix Circus is coming to town and they'll be putting on their show from March 15th through April 22nd. Tuesday through Friday they will have one show daily at 8:00 p.m. On Saturdays they will have two shows at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and three shows on Sunday at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available through Ticket Center and at your nearest Sears or La Gran Discoteca stores. Tickets are $11.00 a piece Tuesday through Thursdays and $13.00 Friday through Sunday.

Looking through the list of sponsors for the circus, there are a lot of the usual suspects, but one sort of jumped out at me and my mind went, screeechhing to a stop, huh? Everybody's favorite gangster Antonio Sanchez and his program "No Te Duermas" are co-sponsors of The Majestix Circus? WTF? Just what kind of circus is this going to be, and should Ticket Center be listing it under the events for the family? Hmm, the advertisement for the show does list a scantly clad hotty with knee high leather boots standing beside a dude in a sequined cape like coat holding a tiger. Who knows what kind of strangeness could be in store.
