Miguel Cotto is the Best

For the third straight year, Miguel Cotto was named the Best Boxer of the Year by the Professional Boxing Commission of Puerto Rico (CBPR, for its initials in Spanish). The boxer dedicated the award to recently deceased commissioner of the CBPR, Rubén 'Papo' Bibiloni. Translation, I think, "Hi Mom!"

March 3rd, Cotto will defend, for the first time, his welterweight championship against Steve Urkel at Coliseo Roberto Clemente. Translated to the worst of my abilities: "I'm anxious about fighting that guy with glasses. He looks so fragile, I think I might kill him with the first punch. But I'm aware that it is my job, so I'll do what I have to do."

My prediction is that Cotto will knock out Urkal in the third or fourth round.
